A TV Jones Ray ButtsFul-Fidelity Filter’Tron™ delivers a warm transparent tone with just the right amount of sparkle.
The bridge position features a Seymour Duncan Psyclone Hot. The higher output of this pickup produces a punchy and thick sound especially in higher gain amp settings.
Electronics
With a simple toggle switch, you can access three very different soundscapes: a warm tone in neck position, a glassy middle position and a focused bridge position which really cuts through the mix.
A volume control and a global tone control is all you need to dial in the sound you want from this guitar. High quality parts such as Emerson Custom CTS style pots and Mojotone Vitamin T caps are used in the electronics compartment.
Wood & Hardware
The body is made of a single-piece noble chestnut blank. It has similar characteristics to swamp ash regarding grain and weight but it is locally harvested in Europe.
The neck is made of a beautifully grained piece of walnut. The open grained structure feels beautiful in the player’s hand.
Due to the 5-point machine screws neck attachment, the Wudtone hartail bridge with a thick base plate and the Grainger String Ferrule Block this guitar develops massive sustain.
